Enjoy one of the best views of Cap de Creus from the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, one of the most emblematic buildings of Catalan Romanesque architecture. From the 11th to the 14th century it was the main spiritual center of the county of Empúries and its splendor can be seen in the sheer size of the monastery complex.
The monastery, one of the essential monuments to visit in this part of the Costa Brava, is made up of the church, the bell tower, the cloister, the sacristies, the conventional living quarters and the Abbot's palace.
