If you prefer a little more intimacy, along the coastal path that starts at Cala Sa Cova in the direction of Sant Antoni de Calonge, you will find almost virgin corners such as Cala del Pi, a rocky cove surrounded by pine trees, or Cala Belladona, at the end of the path.

Hiking along the coastal paths

Platja d'Aro has one of the most well-kept and best-adapted coastal paths in Girona. Approximately 4 kilometres long, it is surrounded by beautiful gardens and luxurious mansions. It starts at Sant Pol beach in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, passes through S'Agaró and continues along a route between coves until it reaches the large and beautiful Cala de Sa Conca.

Another point of interest is the Cova d'en Daina, a large granite dolmen built between 2700 BC and 2200 BC, located on the outskirts of the village of Romanyá de la Selva, which can be reached by bicycle on a 26 km route from Calonge.

For nature lovers, the Parc dels Estanys is a natural space of more than 150,000 m² with a large pond that serves as a refuge for numerous species of birds. It is a perfect place for walking or cycling. Another hiking route is the one that links Castell d'Aro with the Font del Gat and runs for about 8 km of moderate difficulty through the Serra de les Gavarres.
